How it All Began

Mij and Tap are BFFs. In IM, it means Best Friends Forever! We're proud to publish a blog on how our friendship started. Well, let's get to the storytelling part. It all began of course, in our school, SLC, way back in 2006. We're both freshmen. And when the first day of classes had arrived, its so unexpected that we are in the same section, St. Lucy of Syracuse. Because at that time, Mij attended late, (he is present in the afternoon) he is seated to the back. And unexpectedly, my seat mate was Tap. Because we're seat mates,of course its the first time we opened up. We share laughter, we are even called because of our behavior in our class, because we shift our male classmate's names into its counterpart. Until we became close friends. And, we also have another friend, let's call him Runb. We always act childish (who would blow bubbles in our age, because we're teens). We also watch movies, have a walk and enjoy
sharing jokes.

In our second year, we are classmates again! We belong to this section, St. Camillus. Our section is a happy section and we are proud to be a Camillian. Of course, our friendship became stronger. We share secrets, even gossips (that includes
Hollywood etc.) We met another friends again so it added to our circle of friendship.
Like they say, the MORE, the MERRiEr.

Today, we are now on our 3rd Year of our High School life. We are in the same section again (Haha), our section is St. Gregory the Great. Another FYI, our adviser in our 2nd year is again our adviser (talking about 2nd chance.) We enjoy our life. But not for now, because the exams are drawing near, we have to review and of course, to complete our requirements.

This is how it all began-how our friendship began.

CHRIS TIU!

Christopher John Alandy Tiu better known as Chris Tiu a.k.a Mr. Perfect. He is a former player of Ateneo Blue Eagles Men's Basketball but now he's a tv host, a commercial model and a multi-talented student. He is a co-host of Pinoy Records along with People's Champ, Manny Pacquiao. And he also hosts of Ripley's Believe it Or Not on GMA 7 every Monday night after GMA Telebabad.

Many people call him as Mr. Perfect. Why? Because he managed to be a dean's lister in Ateneo while playing basketball for his school, while being a kagawad of their Baranggay, while being a host of GMA 7? whoo! He is really indeed a great model for the youth. He was even named Favorite Athlete of the year in the first ever Nickelodeon Philippines Kid's Choice Awards (I also voted for him haha!).

I love his advertisement with Nica Calapatan and Japoy Lizardo for Milo. And I'm always reading his blog. haha! addict! And as a fan, I hope he will join the PBA draft.

THe EX-effect

The X Effect

This is one of MTV’s pride when it comes to relationship-based show, and it’s The X Effect. The X Effect is a reality show that began airing on MTV in March 2007. The concept is that pair of exes – an ex-boyfriend and ex-girlfriend (though at least one episode with gay couples has been produced) – spend a weekend at a resort hotel, during which time they are given various romantic activities while the others ("O's") covertly watch them. At the end of the weekend, the exes must choose between their old and new partners. Well, in some cases, the ex-girlfriend of the ex-bf chooses their ex, rather than their new love. But in the other cases, they still choose their present relationship with their others.
The show takes place in a resort hotel, wherein the exes are going to spend time with each other, while the others are known to be home. They are forced not to stay with their current boyfriend or girlfriend. In the resort, the exes are going to spend time with each other in a romantic setting-where miracle happen.
On the second night, the exes are going to stay in a room with a single bed. Wow, it means that they are going to be sleeping in a bed. Maybe your wondering what happened to their others? Let’s see.
The exes didn’t know that their ‘others’ are spying them and are watching their ‘wrongdoings’ and scenes that are a little too sweet for exes. The various technologies seen in the show are – hidden microphones, touch sensors, maps and name counters – to see what they are doing. During this time they have no way of communicating the other way.
At the end, each of the exes must choose if they want to continue the relationship with their current partners or go back to their ex. Depending on what they have seen; the current partners may decide not to continue their relationship, regardless of the choice made.

Heart to Heart

The RnB princess Kyla has a new song that is beautifully sung. She is really talented. Anyway, let's proceed to the topic, and it's about her new song from her studio album, "Heart 2 Heart" and the title is Heart to Heart, (well, we can say why the title of the album is hmmm.) I have seen the music video in MYX (Your Numbuh One Music Channel in the Phillipines) and I love watching it there. WHY?? because you can sing along (the lyrics are visible at the bottom part). The video is great, it is like some of Beyonce's music videos (I'm pertaining to "If I Were a Boy", wherein its in black and white) and the effects is great. You see different art in that, like in the letters where in it pops while she is singing and the speech bubbles with some of its line in it. I love the dresses she wore there, its so classy and elegant. I can say that its one of my fave videos yet. The lyrics is in English, its message is about being true to your "love" and is about love. Rihanna: "Remaining Strong and Doing Well"

Rihanna, the Barbadian songbird is lying low in Los Angeles and staying strong. She just recently celebrated her birthday last Feb. 20.
Her camp finally broke radio silence and issued a statement to fans.
"At the request of the authorities, Rihanna is not commenting about the incident involving Chris Brown," her publicist says in a statement.
"She wants to assure her fans that she remains strong, is doing well, and deeply appreciates the outpouring of support she has received during this difficult time." It's the first statement since her rep said Rihanna was "well" in the hours following her alleged altercation with Brown on Feb. 8.
After a trip to Barbados to be with her family and friends, Rihanna surfaced last night, photographed in the L.A. area for the first time since the purported roadside blowup.
In the pics, she is wearing sunglasses and sitting in the back seat of a car. Two unidentified men, a driver and passenger, are in the front seat and another woman is sitting behind the "Umbrella" singer.
Rihanna's record label canceled plans to throw her a birthday party in NYC. The soiree for about 200 guests was to have had a carnival theme with various "sideshow" attractions. The deal wasn't finalized, but it was probably going to happen at Gotham Hall.

Lindsay & Sam Still On at Masquerade Bash

Despite yet more rumors of a rift between Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson, the couple stepped out together last night.
The occasion? Teen Vogue editor Carlos Lopez' masquerade birthday party at Guy's nightclub. Sam was spinning, while Linds was just along for the ride.
Less successful at squashing breakup rumors was Hayden Panettiere, who arrived with an unknown guy in tow—not on-off boyfriend Milo Ventimiglia.
Paps told Kim Kardashian outside the party that her feathered mask was better than Paris Hilton's. Mischa Barton also went to the event.
One conspicuously absent celeb? Nicole Richie, who opted to skip her friend's bash for Fashion Week in New York City.

Hugh Jackman is the Host of the Oscars

The Sexiest Man Alive will host the Oscars. He is a serious type of person (I think) because he is not a comedian, unlike the other previous hosts.
While Jackman is clearly finding his own low-key groove as a TV comedian, his son Oscar is apparently eyeing a career in journalism, as the lad suggested a headline to his dad for the big night: "Oscar's dad hosts the Oscars."

Project Runway 101

This is Project Runway

“One day you’re in, and the next day you’re out”. “Auf Wiedersehen”. Wondering where these lines were heard and spoken?? These are some of the lines we hear from the original Bravo reality show, and this is Project Runway. Project Runway started in 2004, and the show takes place at Parsons New School of Design in New York City. This show is looking for the next big name in Fashion. They are having auditions in different parts of America, in which every participant should bring their 3 strongest looks in which they will be judged. And after the auditions, they will choose around 14 to 16 designers in which they will be part of the show.

Every week, they are given challenges in which it determines their skill, art and how creative they are. They are also given a short period of time (I really mean it) to shop for fabrics and to complete their designs. There will be a winner for every challenge, and sad to say, one will also be out in the competition, until 3 will remain to show their collection in Bryant Park and will be given the chance to show their collection in New York Fashion Week, a $100,000 to start their own line, furnished by Tresemme, a chance to sell their line on Bluefly.com, and a new edition of an Astra car. Wow!! The prizes are so enough to start a line. And now, let’s meet the people in PR. Let’s start in introducing the host. She is a Victoria’s Secret angel, a German model, and also the hostess of Germany’s Next Top Model. She is Ms. Heidi Klum. Next on the list is the mentor of the designers and he also might be the tormentor (according to others.).He is Tim Gunn. The 2 judges for the competition are the tough American designer Michael Corrs, and the editor at large for ELLE magazine, Nina Garcia. Now that we’ve introduced the people in PR, of course, let’s now meet the designers. Because PR has 5 seasons already, we’ll just share to you the winners of the different seasons. Here are they: Jay McCarroll (Season 1), Chloe Dao (Season 2), Jeffrey Sebelia (Season 3), Christian Siriano (Season 4) and last but not the least is the latest winner, Leanne Marshall (Season 5). These people showed their collections, and because of PR their dreams came true. Project Runway is really a chance of a lifetime for aspiring designers. Christian's collection was comprised of Musketeer-inspired couture, featuring ruffles, feathers and headwear (the brown dress with ruffles in the picture). Leanne's collection is inspired by these wave patterns (the green dress.).
